Dear PoolTrac Customer,
I’m writing to inform you of important changes we have made to our email template, which took effect in October 2023 for all Android devices. The Apple Update has not been approved by Apple yet. Once it is approved the email template changes will go into effect for them as well. The changes are prompted by four key factors:
- New GDPR Compliance: To ensure that our communications are in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we have revised our email template to include clear options for opting-in and opting-out of various types of email content. We have also updated our privacy policy and included the essential GDPR-required language in all our communications.
- Large Emails Getting Truncated: We have noticed that some of our larger emails were getting truncated upon delivery, causing an inconvenience to you. To address this issue, we have optimized the content and structure of our emails to ensure they are delivered in full, without any content loss.
- Enhanced Security Measures: We are also taking steps to improve the security of our email communications. This includes implementing advanced encryption methods and secure links to protect your data and privacy.
- Lowering SPAM Score with Streamlined Emails: To ensure that our emails consistently reach your inbox, we’ve made changes to lower our SPAM score. This includes streamlining our email structure and focusing on more relevant content. From this point forward all emails are now being sent from Notification@PoolTrac.com.
